Preserving the Wisdom Culture of Tibet
Rigpa actively supports a number of monasteries, nunneries, and study centres in the East, as well as individual masters and practitioners, social programmes and an annual programme of major practice intensives and great prayer gatherings or meetings in India and the Himalayas.
Spiritual Care Centre
A Spiritual Care Centre is being built at Dzogchen Beara, Rigpa's retreat centre in the west of Ireland, where people facing illness or death can come for periods of rest in a welcoming and healing atmosphere.
Practical Wisdom for the Modern World
This specially designed training for managers and business leaders shows how to apply the Buddhist teachings in order to overcome stress and to integrate principles of compassion and awareness into the workplace.
International Forum on Buddhism and Medicine
In a spirit of dialogue and exchange, these events bring together eminent Buddhist masters with leading doctors, scientists and historians from all over the world, to share the view of their respective traditions.
Treasury of Wisdom
Since the 1970s, Rigpa and Sogyal Rinpoche have played a major part in presenting Tibetan Buddhism to the modern world, hosting teachings by the Dalai Lama, the heads of the four schools of Tibetan Buddhism, and many of the most outstanding masters of our time. The Treasury of Wisdom project aims to preserve and make available this unique collection of rare and precious teachings.
Rigpé Yeshé
Rigpé Yeshé is an association of parents which aims to support families who wish to bring up their children in the light of the teachings of the Buddha.
